Azerbaijan Visa Regulations for Turkish Citizens:

Turkish citizens can now enjoy visa-free and passport-free travel to Azerbaijan with the new chipped ID cards. These ID cards are accepted as travel documents, provided they include a photograph, which is mandatory for all travelers, including infants and children.

Please note that other forms of ID, such as driver’s licenses or temporary IDs issued during new identity card applications, are not valid for travel. For travels from third countries to Turkey or Azerbaijan, the use of a passport is mandatory. Turkish citizens entering Azerbaijan from neighboring countries like Georgia, Iran, and Russia can only do so visa-free with a passport. Newlyweds who have applied for a surname change and have not yet received their new ID are subject to the discretion of the customs officer. Children under the age of 7 are exempt from the foreign exit fee
